I spent thirty years as a secondary educator before entering counseling four years ago. One concept that both careers share is the development of coping skills, adaptability, and personal empowerment. I believe emotional, spiritual, and physical healings begin with a solid therapeutic relationship. My person-centered approach allows my clients to establish short-term and long-term goals with the appropriate methods and interventions for success. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and trainer, which allows me to work with couples in the premarital stage, newlywed, established, and distressed. In addition, my experience and person-centered approach let me work with marriages dealing with infidelity, financial stresses, and empty-nest issues.
